vet symbol Critical care monitoring is facilitated by the regional emergency and critical care service, Affiliated Pet Emergency Services, which has served our area since 1986 with high quality care, staff, facility and equipment. This arrangement assures that no pet and no pet-owner is ever stranded without available help in a swift and efficient manner in times of need. The emergency clinic facility is located at 7520 West University Ave. (Tower Road across from Home Depot) in Gainesville, Florida. The after-hours emergency phone number is (352) 373-4444 for dog and cat emergencies.

For birds, exotics, ferrets, pocket pets and all wildlife emergencies, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida provides after-hours emergency services through its Department of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine. The phone number is (352) 392-4751.
