Dr. Jack Sameck

After graduating from the Ohio State
Veterinary School in 1975, Dr. Jack Sameck served with the U.S. Army
Veterinary Core before returning home to Florida. Subsequently, he worked as
a veterinary associate in the Gainesville area before purchasing Gainesville
Animal Hospital in 1982 as a practice owner.
Dr. Sameck’s mission has always been to provide optimal
veterinary care to his patients while also serving his clients and the
community. In 1983, he founded the Interlachen Veterinary Clinic, and in
1989 he established Gainesville Animal Hospital West. In 2005, he purchased
Archer Animal Hospital.
Dr. Sameck is a member of the American Veterinary
Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, and the Alachua
County Veterinary Medical Association.
On a personal note, Dr. Sameck and his wife April have
five children; Abby, Amy, Jacob, Karen, and Tommy. The Sameck’s also have
two Schnauzer’s, Jake (the baby shown here) and Nike (who is very
energetic). Dr. Sameck enjoys golfing and traveling with his family. |
Dr. Erin Wilmot-Coomer

Dr. Erin Wilmot-Coomer was born in Illinois, but she was
raised in Australia. She obtained her veterinary degree from Massey
University in New Zealand in 2002. She then worked in New Zealand as a mixed
animal practitioner, caring for dogs, cats, sheep and cattle.
In 2004, she moved to Canada to work at the Ontario
Veterinary College as a Small Animal Anesthesia Clinical Instructor. During
her time in Canada, she anesthetized many patients undergoing special
procedures and taught anesthesia to the final year veterinary students.
In 2005, she moved to Gainesville and joined the team at Archer
Animal Hospital. She and her husband, Alastair who is also a veterinarian, have two dogs: "Nala" is a 5-year old
boxer who traveled all the way from New Zealand, and Gabby (shown here) is
an English bulldog who is also 5 years old. Dr. Wilmot and her husband were
recently married on May 17th in Italy. |

Brenda Cameron

As our head
technician for many years, Brenda now runs the front desk with a wealth of
knowledge and grace. We truly value Brenda’s commitment to our practice and
her wonderful sense of responsibility, not only for the welfare the pets in
our care, but for our clients as well.
Brenda and her
husband, Greg, have two active boys, Justin and Kurtis, a pet boxer named
"Braun" and "Jasmine," their horse. Brenda loves spending time with her
family and friends and scrap booking. We are pleased to have had her
in our practice for over 10 years, and have enjoyed watching her family
grow!

Tiffany Walker

Originally from
Anderson, South Carolina, Tiffany is a graduate of the University of Florida
with a B.S. in Zoology. Everyone should have such a tireless, hardworking
and focused person on their team as we do in Tiffany! In her time off, she
enjoys reading, listening to music and photography.
She has a
Boston terrier named "Buster," two cats ("Hobbes" and "Lil Girl"), and a
parrot ("Birdie"). Tiffany and her fiancé, Matthew, have plans to hike
sections of the Appalachian Trail one day. Tiffany works as a veterinary
technician and has a special love and interest in birds.

Sarah Bazinet

Sarah was born
in North Dakota, but raised in New Port Richey, Florida. She moved to
Bronson three years ago to attend the University of Florida where she
obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation
and Animal Sciences with a minor in Zoology.
She plans to
attend the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine.
Recently married, her children include 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and about
15 chickens.
